We know that Bitcoin price was less than a cent in 2009, but when it started growing that fast?
We analyzed the top cryptocurrency price history starting from 2013 and made a bar chart race representing crypto wars. The bar chart is using the top price of the currency during the month. Interesting fact: There are 2 picks of Zcash and yearn.finance for a couple of days that their price was higher than Bitcoin price.
Cryptocurrencies included:
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Namecoin, Peercoin, Gridcoin, Primecoin, XRP (Ripple), NXT, Auroracoin, Dash, NEO, Monero, Vertcoin, Ethereum Classic, Dogecoin, Tether, Zcash, Bitcoin Cash, yearn.finance, Maker, Compound, Aave, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV, Binance Coin, Decred, Qtum.
Note that we didn’t include Bitcoin wrappers such as Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), renBTC (RENBTC), and Huobi BTC (HBTC).
