RBI Cryptocurrency Launching Soon? | India's First Digital Currency

The govt. is preparing to introduce a law to blacklist private cryptographic forms of money, for instance, bitcoin, and dispatch a design for an official digital currency given by the Reserve Bank of India.

The proposal to ban cryptocurrency is among the 20 bills to be considered at the Budget session of parliament.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) mentioned that it was working on developing its own digital legal tender that has the backing of the state.
