πŸ“ Overview πŸ“

Thinking about getting into crypto? Well, the first thing you need to do is to find a safe crypto wallet. After all, what’s the point of winning the altcoin lottery and hitting that 500x coin only to find that you have lost those coins?

Treat that crypto like the million dollars it could be one day.

❓Why Use A Crypto Wallet❓

Most crypto newcomers do not know that when you keep your coins on an exchange, you are essentially giving up ownership and control of your crypto.

Use a crypto wallet to get control of your own private keys. Not your keys, not your crypto.

πŸ₯‡Ledger NanoπŸ₯‡

The Ledger Nano hardware wallet is a physical device which looks a bit like a USB drive. I believe it to be the most secure crypto wallet money can buy.

Ledger wallets support over a thousand different cryptos and you can easily manage your portfolio using the Ledger Live app. This is hands down my favourite wallet and I own a few of them πŸ˜‰

πŸ₯ˆExodus WalletπŸ₯ˆ

I recommend this wallet to any of my friends who are just starting out in crypto. Exodus is a FREE multi currency crypto wallet and has both a desktop and mobile version. The wallet is frankly the best looking wallet I have ever come across, it boasts live chat support and a built-in exchange.

Whilst it isn’t as secure as hardware wallets, you can upgrade its security through an integration with Trezor. That makes Exodus one the most future-proof free wallets out there.

Trezor is another type of hardware wallet and shares many of the security benefits as Ledger. However, they are more pricey and it has been shown that these wallets can be hacked if someone gets access to the physical device.

Trezor also supports over 1,000 coins and is also a bit more beginner friendly than Ledger to set up. I’ve got a Trezor myself and certainly don’t regret the investment.

4️⃣ Trust Wallet 4️⃣

If you want a multi-crypto mobile wallet, then you have to give Trust Wallet a try. It also has a web 3 browser which means that it can interact with dApps seamlessly.

5️⃣ Metamask 5️⃣

This is an Ethereum and ERC-20 token wallet which acts like a between standard web browsers and the Ethereum blockchain. The wallet can be used as a browser extension and is a fan favourite amongst Ethereum dApp users.
