आम बजट में सरकार ने ऐलान किया है कि क्रिप्टो करेंसी से होने वाली आय पर 30 प्रतिशत टैक्स लगेगा । इसके साथ ही साथ डिजिटल एसेट्स ट्रांसफर या गिफ्ट करने पर भी 30 प्रतिशत टैक्स लगेगा । वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा है कि क्रिप्टो वैध करेंसी नहीं है । साथ ही ये ऐलान भी किया गया है कि जल्द भारत अपनी डिजिटल करेंसी और डिजिटल एसेट्स भी लाएगा ।
